Joe Simon Productions was founded in 1999. From the start Joe had the goal of creating wedding films that his clients actually want, and love, to watch. He approaches weddings with the same creativity, passion, and expertise as his independent films and other film ventures.
When Joe purchased his first video camera in 1996 he had no idea the journey on which it would take him. He started by filming extreme sports and a few short films and along the way he was asked to film a wedding or two. What started as a handful of weddings has turned into a full-time production.
Coming from a background much different than most event filmmakers gave Joe a different vision and approach to shooting and editing. As he has grown along the years he has continued to learn and adapt new techniques that have enabled his company to become recognized as one of the top studios in the industry. Joe is proud that his experiences and success have lead to being able to train and instruct other young filmmakers at conferences and workshops around the country.
